The Maha Sudarshan Puja begins with Swasti Vachan (recitation of auspicious verses) and Shanti Path (prayers for peace) to establish a serene and protective environment. This is followed by the Sankalp (vow) to declare the devotee’s purpose and intentions. The sequence of deity installations starts with Ganesh Sthapan (installation of Lord Ganesha to remove obstacles), followed by Lakshmi Sthapan (invocation of Goddess Lakshmi for prosperity) and Kalash Sthapan (placement of the sacred pot symbolizing divine presence). The focal point of the ritual, Sudarshan Chakra Sthapan (installation of Lord Sudarshan), is then performed, along with Navgrah Sthapan (installation of the nine planetary deities), Brahma Sthapan (installation of Lord Brahma), and Agni Sthapan (installation of the fire deity).

The ceremony continues with the Invocation of all Gods and Goddesses, followed by chanting the Navgrah Mantra Japa to harmonize planetary influences. The puja includes the powerful Sudarshan Mula Mantra Japa to invoke Lord Sudarshan’s energy and protection, along with the recitation of the Sudarshan Kavach Path for creating a divine shield against negative forces. The main worship, Sudarshan Puja, is then performed, honouring the divine discus of Lord Vishnu. The ritual concludes with Aarti (offering of light) and the distribution of Prasad to the Brahmins, symbolizing the blessings received from the divine.
