Puja of Tulsi

Tulsi Puja is a sacred ritual in Hindu tradition, performed to honor the Tulsi plant, considered an earthly manifestation of the goddess Tulsi. The puja is believed to invite divine blessings, peace, and prosperity into the home.

The ritual is typically performed in the morning or evening, beginning with the offering of water to the Tulsi plant. Devotees use a copper or brass pot to pour water at the base of the plant while chanting mantras or prayers dedicated to Tulsi. The most common mantra recited is the "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya," invoking Lord Vishnu, who is believed to reside in the Tulsi plant.

Devotees then offer flowers, sandalwood paste, and incense sticks to the plant. In some regions, a diya (lamp) is lit, and the plant is circled with devotion. On special occasions, such as Tulsi Vivah, Tulsi is ceremoniously married to Lord Vishnu, symbolizing purity and divine union.

Performing Tulsi Puja daily is said to purify the home, remove negative energies, and promote spiritual growth. At Divvine Vrindavan, we provide carefully nurtured Tulsi plants, perfect for your daily puja rituals, helping you connect with the divine and experience its blessings.
