Das Maha Vidya Puja & Homam Procedure | The Das Maha Vidya Puja & Homam begins with Swasti Vachan (recitation of auspicious hymns) and Shanti Path (peace prayers) to create a tranquil and sacred atmosphere. This is followed by the Sankalp (pledge), where the devotee’s intentions and prayers are declared. The ritual continues with Ganesh Sthapan (installation of Lord Ganesha to remove obstacles), Kalash Sthapan (placement of the sacred water pot), and Das Maha Vidya Sthapan (installation of the ten great wisdom goddesses). Additional installations include Navgrah Sthapan (installation of the nine planetary deities), Brahma Sthapan (installation of Lord Brahma), and Agni Sthapan (invocation of the fire deity). The ceremony proceeds with the Invocation of all Gods and Goddesses and the chanting of Navgrah Mantra Japa, with one mala for each planet to harmonize their influences. The puja includes the Punyaha Vachan Kalash Pujan (purification with sacred water), Chhetrapal Mandal Pujan (worship of the guardians of the directions), and Chausath Yogini Pujan (worship of the 64 Yoginis). The core of the ritual involves Das Maha Vidya Yantra Pujan and Das Maha Vidya Pujan, where the yantras and deities of the ten goddesses are honored. The Das Maha Vidya Mantra Japa & Kavach Recitation are performed to seek the protection, wisdom, and blessings of the ten goddesses. The puja concludes with Aarti (offering of light) and the distribution of Prasad to the Brahmins, symbolizing the divine grace received. |
