The Saraswati Puja begins with Swasti Vachan (chanting of auspicious hymns) and Shanti Path (peace prayers) to set a serene and positive atmosphere. This is followed by the Sankalp (pledge) where the devotee's intent for the puja is declared. The installation of deities starts with Ganesh Sthapan (invocation of Lord Ganesha to remove obstacles), followed by Kalash Sthapan (placement of the sacred pot symbolizing divine presence), Devi Saraswati Sthapan (installation of Goddess Saraswati), and Lakshmi Sthapan (invocation of Goddess Lakshmi). The procedure continues with Navgrah Sthapan (installation of the nine planetary deities), Brahma Sthapan (installation of Lord Brahma), and Agni Sthapan (installation of the fire deity).

The ritual proceeds with the Invocation of all Gods and Goddesses and the chanting of Navgrah Mantra Japa to balance planetary influences. This is followed by the Puranokta Saraswati Mantra Japa to seek the goddess’s blessings for wisdom and learning. The Saraswati Yantra Puja is performed to harness the divine energies associated with knowledge and arts. The main worship involves Brahma Saraswati Puja, followed by a Homam (fire ritual) with offerings of honey, ghee, sugar, sesame seeds, ashtagandh (fragrant herbs), sandalwood powder, and Navgrah Samidha (sacred woods for each planet). The puja concludes with Purnahuti (final offering), Aarti (light offering), and the distribution of Prasad to the Brahmins.
